Cha Eun-woo to Release Second Solo Album “ELSE” Ahead of Military Hiatus

Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo is set to release his second solo mini-album “ELSE” on November 21 at 1 PM (KST) through global streaming platforms.

His agency announced the news on October 24 via official social media and YouTube channels, unveiling a “coming soon” teaser video that instantly drew attention. The teaser showed Cha Eun-woo in a mysterious and intense mood, shifting expressions and gestures to portray inner conflict. Dressed in a leather jacket with scar-like makeup, he revealed a charismatic and darker edge, hinting at a dramatic concept for his comeback.

“ELSE” marks Cha Eun-woo’s first solo release in about 1 year and 9 months since his debut mini-album “ENTITY,” and was completed prior to his military enlistment in July, where he is currently serving in the Army Band. The album is seen as a special gift to fans awaiting his return.

Before enlisting, Cha Eun-woo maintained a busy schedule — holding his solo fan meeting “THE ROYAL” in Seoul and Tokyo, and presenting projects like the VR concert “Memories” and its extended cinema version “Cha Eun-woo: Memories in Cinema.”

As an actor, he continues to expand his portfolio. He stars in the upcoming film “First Ride” (premiering October 29) as Yeon-min, and will appear in the Netflix series “The Wonderfuls” as Lee Woon-jung.

With “ELSE,” Cha Eun-woo bridges his artistry across music and acting, proving that even during military service, his presence continues to shine.
